Favorite Places in Warren

The Warren District of Bisbee is one of the happening places in town. Only a 7-minute drive from Old Bisbee, it is a close by hidden gem. Since I live between the two, I like to check out what’s going on.

I enjoy starting with a cup of coffee and a tasty scone at Warren Peace Cafe, located at 123 Arizona Street. It is a decoratively balanced eclectic-blend of local artwork on the walls, and live local music most weekends; a cozy spot with seating indoors and out, and they serve breakfast and lunch, plus baked goodies. You can’t miss it – it’s right next to the street-art adorned skate park.

Then I head over to BZB Consignment to check out the latest in fashion, furniture, and music, plus a whole lot of other cool things. Frank, the owner, is always helpful and fun to chat with. Whenever I’m looking for a specific item for a photo shoot or art project, Frank finds what I need. He and his son run the shop, and I hardly ever walk away without finding an unexpected treasure or two. It is by far the best 2nd-hand store in town. They are located at 202 Bisbee Road.

Not all of the art galleries are located on Main Street in Old Bisbee. Carriage House Studios is in Warren and is a must-see. Check out their Facebook Page for days and hours, which are usually on weekends. “The Infinite Face” Art Show begins on November 15th and ends on December 6th. As with each show curated by owner David Neufeld, it will undoubtedly be spectacular. Mark your calendars for November 15th – 308 Powell Street.

Lastly, Lady Bird Pizza (next to Hitching Post, 316 Pirrung) is my go-to quick lunch – a huge slice of New York-style cheese or pepperoni is the perfectly filling pick-me-up to get me through the rest of my busy day. Named after the owner’s pet hen, who passed away earlier this year, the new pizza place is a wonderful tribute. While you’re there, stop in for a drink at Hitching Post Saloon and stay for the live music.
